Né en 1940 à Moscou. Son père est l'illustre peintre N.A. Sokolov, membre du fameux collectif de

créateurs les Koukriniksy.

En 1972, diplôme du institute Stroganof de Moscou dans la section « Intérieur et installation».

Depuis 1979, membre de l'organisme moscovite l'Union des Artistes de Russie.

Participe à l'aménagement intérieur des édifices de l'administration du l'avenue Novui Arbat, du

théâtre du Kremlin, du complexe balnéaire de Pitsunda(Abkhazie) ainsi qu'un certain nombre de

bâtiments administratifs de Moscou et de villes de province.

En tant que peintre, il est le créateur de nombreux ensembles présentés dans le cadre d'expositions et

de foires à l'étranger.

De 1990 à 1992, organise des ventes aux enchères de peintures russes à Paris. Participe à des grandes

ventes européennes (Sotheby's, Drouot) et moscovites. Membre de l'Académie des Artistes de Russie.

Membre de la Maison des Artists, Paris.

Travaille avec succès dans divers domaines de l'art, graphisme, peinture et design.

Mr. Sokolov was born in 1940 in Moscow in the family of the famous artist N.A Sokolov, a member

of the famous creative team Kukryniksy. Mr. Sokolov was raised in the family with deep cultural

traditions and great artistic taste.

In 1972, Mr. Sokolov graduated from the Stroganov Moscow Higher Academy of Arts and Industrial

Designm, department of “Interior and equipment”. Mr. Sokolov has been the Member of the Moscow’s

branch of the Russian Union of Artists since 1979. Mr. Sokolov is the Academician of the Russian

Academy of Art.

He participated in the interior design teams of the CMEA office building, Kalinin (Novy Arbat) Prospect,

the Kremlin Theater, Pitsunda resort and a number of office buildings in Moscow and other Russian

cities. Mr. Sokolov is the author

of many well-known decorative ensembles in overseas exhibitions and fairs. He worked as the Chief

artist of the Soviet pavilions abroad through the Chamber of Commerce of the USSR. Mr. Sokolov

proved himself as a talented designer who received numerous medals and awards for his creative

activities. Between 1990 and 1992, Mr. Sokolov organized the auctions of Russian art in Paris from

1990.
